Hi there, my name is Ethan. I'm twenty three years old and live in Cambridge, UK. I'm a fiction writer specialising in fantasy and sci-fi. I'm an avid worldbuilder looking to share my creations and make something truly unique.
It has been my dream, for many years now, to hold the elusive title of Author, and although I'm still a ways off reaching that goal, I am proud to share the work that I am currently producing with you all. I hope over the next few years my web-series, 'Seize the Seas', and the other projects I have planned, will continue to improve in quality and develop into something truly fantastic.
We all have our origin stories, some darker and harsher than others, but our experiences and histories all lend to guide our present. My younger brother was terminally ill. He wasn't born with the illness, but it took a hold of the majority of his life. He was my only sibling, and it wasn't easy growing up with him, but during my darkest days I turned to fiction. Escapism was, and is, a fundamental reason as to why I'm still here. So, I hope in some small way I can do for you what storytelling and worldbuilding did for me. I hope you enjoy, and I look forward to seeing what we can create together!
The New World is a dangerous place, that much is certain. If you ignore the sheer dangers of the world - the sea monsters, wild storms, and restless dead - then pirates, slavers, and rampant mages are the worst things you could come across, at least for a law abiding citizen of the Empire. For those leading a life of chaos and adventure, or simply people wishing to return to a way of life before the great apocalypse, an endless army of Navy martyrs, Church cultists, and heroic Marines hold more danger than any drunkard with a ship. Times are changing however, and these two sides grow ever more powerful as they vie to erase the other. A war is coming and the day to Seize the Seas comes ever closer. Recommended for mature readers.
